Busy times

Well it's been a busy time here at Peggy's yarns. I have had lots of projects on the go and been trying to stock up the shop with lots of exciting products for you all.

I made a project that I have been wanting to make for absolutely ages and that was the hitch hiker. I had some special yarn called vampire on the bus which I bought a few years ago from babylonglegs and it knitted up beautifully. It is a project for myself for once which I usually never make myself hardly anything but this year I plan to change this.

One of the things I recently made was this turtle which is supporting @lemknitcrochet who you can find on twitter plurk and ravelry and also on her Fabulous lemknitcrochet podcast. She has been raising money to help rare diseases as this is very dear to her heart because her good friend josh died from this. There has been this turtle pattern for sale, kal on ravelry, yarn without borders which you can buy (which I will show you the one I did) bags with Josh's art work printed on them the list goes on and just shows how knitters can really come together.

Seeing as though it is Easter weekend I should include a little bunny I made for a special little boy called Noah. I adapted him to make him into a boy bunny for him to play with.

My next blog post will be all about this special little boy so I hope you all look out for it. But in the meantime please have a look at his website http://www.hugsfornoah.co.uk

Thank you and please leave comments they are always lovely to read
