Then my Mum asked me to knit my Auntie some socks for her birthday and luckily I had some stripy socks on the needles from last xmas and my Mum loved the yarn. So these ones were for my Auntie's birthday which is this friday and I am sure she will love wearing them as she has never had hand knitted socks before. I have now also cast on ... yes wait for it!! another pair of socks. I have lots of sock yarn in my stash so thought I would use up some more yarn. Here is the progress so far including my lovely nicsknots project bag which is my favourite sock knitting bag to use.
